Custom Frame bag guide
This page is a step‑by‑step guide to help you understand how buying a custom frame bag works. It walks you through all the choices you can make and what happens after you place your order. By the end you will know exactly what to expect and what we need from you to build a bag that fits your bike perfectly.
How the custom frame bag process works
A frame bag is one of the most practical ways to use the free space inside your bike and turn it into secure storage for long rides, commuting, or bikepacking. Because each frame is different every bag is made to order to match your bike.
Below you can see how the process works from start to finish.
1. Choose your frame bag style
Start by picking the type of frame bag that fits the way you ride.
Examples:
- Full frame bag for maximum volume
- Half frame bag if you want to keep your bottles
- Custom shapes for special frames or specific use
This choice defines the basic shape and how much of the front triangle the bag will cover.
2. Choose your colours
Next you decide how your bag will look.
You can keep it simple with one main fabric colour for the whole bag.
Or you can mix two colours by adding a secondary fabric panel.
- Main fabric: base/top colour of the bag
- Secondary fabric (optional): bottom colour of the bag

3. Choose your strap setup
You pick how the bag attaches to your frame so it works with your cables and riding style.
Options:
- Velcro and cord on the top tube
- All Velcro
- All cord
Each system holds the bag firmly in place and keeps it from shifting while you ride.
4. Pick your add‑ons
You can add extra features for more functionality.
Available add‑ons:
- Map pocket on the non‑drive side: Slim pocket for route sheets, phone, wallet, or documents
- Ultra wide opening in the lower triangle section: Larger zip opening to make packing bulkier items easier

5. Send a photo of your bike for sizing
Once you have customised your bag you send us a side photo of your bike so we can build it to fit.
How to take the photo:
- Place the bike on a flat surface and photograph it from the side
- Make sure the whole frame is visible and the bike is as straight as possible
- Include a ruler, tape measure, or any simple size reference in the picture
You then email the photo and your frame dimensions. We use this to trace your frame and draw an exact template for your bag.
6. We build your custom frame bag
After we have your order details and frame photo we start making your bag.
- We draw a template based on your frame
- We cut the fabrics in your chosen colours
- We add the strap system and any add‑ons you picked
Depending on materials, the whole process usually takes 4 to 5 weeks
